FAQ'S

ARE YOUR SOLES MADE FROM USED TYRES?

YES. All our soles are cut directly from reclaimed car and van tyres. These are sourced by our makers, using materials that otherwise would have gone to landfill! Each footprint is completely unique, featuring the original tread from the tyre is cut from.

DO YOU MAKE VEGAN SHOES?

We will be soon! We have lots of exciting materials on the way and we can't wait to share them with you.

WHERE ARE ARDSLY SHOES MADE?

Our Shoes are made in Mexico, where our Creative Director Emma lives most of the year.

We have several shoe making families we work with and have a close relationships with. We pay a fair prices for all of our shoes. We do not barter with our craftsmen + women, we pay what is asked and regularly visit our makers.

Meet some of them them on our insta stories 'Fash Rev' @ardsly_ #whomadeyourclothes

WHERE DO YOU SOURCE YOUR LEATHER?

Our leather is sourced locally from two places within Mexico.

We work with a family in Leon, Mexico to make our boots, sourcing a combination of leather from markets that sell 'off-cut' leather - sold by factories that no longer need to use these pieces. And also, leather sourced locally from tanneries around our artisans workshop in Yucatan. This is why we create small batches in our shoes, because we try to use as much waste leather as possible, but we can't always guarantee the same shades of colour for larger batches.

All of our leather used to make Ardsly shoes is by-product.
